Having continued their upward movement again in the past week, domestic billet prices in Iran have increased by $10/mt on the lower end and by $25/mt on the upper end week on week to $470-475/mt ex-works, including nine percent VAT.  SteelOrbis has also been informed that buyers in Iran have maintained a wait-and-see stance as regards concluding new deals due to the sharp rises seen in domestic billet quotations, and so demand for billet has declined slightly over the past week.
