Market sources state that domestic billet prices in Iran have decreased further by $15/mt on the lower end and by $10/mt on the upper end week on week to $465-485/mt ex-works. Market sources report that buyers have postponed their billet purchases due to the sharp price declines in the domestic billet market, causing demand to remain weak.
