Domestic and import long steel offers in Israel

According to market sources, local steelmakers' rebar offers in the Israeli domestic market are being quoted at $620-625/mt delivered, excluding 16 percent VAT, while improved activity is witnessed in the market. Meanwhile, Turkish rebar offers to Israel can be found at $590-595/mt CFR for late July shipments, with receiving moderate demand.
 
In addition, ex-Turkey wire rod offers to the country stand at $590/mt CFR, while demand has remained on the low side for these offers. In the meantime, Ukrainian wire rod offers, which are attracting more attention, are at $582/mt CFR.
