Markets sources state that ex-Spain rebar offers have indicated a decrease of €10/mt ($13/mt) over the past week and are now standing at €450-455/mt ($598-605/mt) FOB. On the other hand, the latest rebar transaction from Spain to Algeria has been concluded at levels of €475-480/mt ($632-638/mt) CFR.

Market players also state that Algerian buyers have purchased about 60,000-70,000 mt of rebar from Spain in the last three weeks, but that demand for Spanish rebar in the export markets has slackened lately.
