During the past week, domestic wire rod prices in Turkey have continued their downward movement, while demand in the local Turkish wire rod market has revived slightly. Market players state that long-standing postponements of wire rod purchases have caused downstream users' needs to increase, and so their purchasing activity has improved over the past week, though it is still based solely on the needs of Turkish downstream users.
