According to market sources, rebar prices in the local UAE market, where activity is on the strong side, have remained stable since last week, with prices still standing at AED 2,300-2,310/mt ($627-629/mt) delivered. The implementation of the planned construction projects has been accelerated recently in the UAE, resulting in stronger demand for both local and import materials.

On the other hand, it is reported that some ex-Turkey deals for approximately 75,000 mt of rebar have been concluded in the UAE recently at the price level of $575-582/mt CFR on theoretical weight basis for shipments in June.
