During the past week, buyers in the local Turkish rebar market have maintained a wait-and-see stance, while demand in the market has remained weak. Meanwhile, having appreciated against the US dollar, Turkish lira has rebounded to TRY 3.41 to the US dollar, supporting the downward movement of the market. As a result, domestic rebar quotations have moved down for the second consecutive week by TRY 10-20/mt compared to price levels recorded on September 7.
