Demand in the local Turkish merchant bar market has been impacted by Ramadan, with buyers still only concluding purchases in line with their needs. Domestic merchant bar prices have respectively declined in Turkey's Karabuk and Iskenderun regions by TRY20 and TRY 50/mt compared to the price levels recorded on May 17, while prices in the Izmir and Denizli regions have remained stable in the same period.
