During the past week, demand for ex-CIS billet has remained at low levels, while buyers' inquiries for billet from the CIS region are still limited. Buyers in Egypt and Turkey - CIS-based billet suppliers' most important export markets - are postponing their purchases due to the end-of-Ramadan holiday (July 4-7). Meanwhile, export offers for billet from the CIS region have remained unchanged during the past week at $310-330/mt FOB.
