Demand for ex-CIS billet softens

Demand for ex-CIS billet has softened during the past week and is now at weak levels. In the same period, ex-CIS billet offers have increased by $25/mt on the lower end and by $35/mt on the upper end to $425-450/mt FOB and are failing to gain buyers' acceptance in the target markets.
 
On the other hand, CIS-based suppliers' billet offers to Turkey have also increased by $25/mt on the lower end and by $35/mt on the upper end week on week to $435-460/mt CFR. In addition, ex-CIS billet offers to Egypt have increased by $20/mt in the same period to the range of $440-450/mt CFR.
