Cold weather conditions still impact Turkish rebar market

The cold and snowy weather conditions in Turkey have continued to negatively impact transaction activity in the country's local rebar spot market over the past week, causing construction activity to almost ground to a halt. Traders state that most construction sites have stopped working and hence demand for rebar has weakened and prices have decreased.

As of today, January 12, traders' rebar offers in the Turkish domestic market are as follows:
