In the Bulgarian domestic market, rebar prices have remained unchanged as compared to last week and are still at BGN 1,030-1,040/mt ($691-698/mt) CPT on actual weight basis, exclusive of 20 percent VAT. However, some deals have been concluded at BGN 10-20/mt ($7-13/mt) below this range in the market.
As SteelOrbis has reported lately, in the Bulgarian rebar market demand has risen slightly in line with the improved weather conditions, while mills have also pushed up their quotations in response to increasing raw material and billet prices.
