Billet prices for
rebar production in the local Italian market are currently at €490-500/mt ($726-741/mt) delivered to rolling mill in northern
Italy, on two to three month open account basis, excluding VAT.
Although the local Italian
billet market is on an increasing trend, it has not been able to catch the upward price of the Turkish and
CIS producers this week.
