SteelOrbis has been informed that billet offers in the local Turkish market are currently varying in a range of $1,210-1,260/mt ex-works, excluding VAT.

The Turkish billet prices, which had maintained their strength despite the recent downtrend in the prices for scrap and long products as well as the low-price billet offers to Turkey made from India and Ukraine, have registered a softening as of last week, dropping to the abovementioned levels.
