SteelOrbis has been informed that in the local Taiwanese steel market the prices of commercial grade billet of 120 mm x 12 m have declined by NTD 1,000/mt ($33/mt) as compared to last week and are now being quoted at NTD 15,500-15,700/mt ($517-524/mt) ex-works, for early May shipments.
In the meantime, rebar prices in the Taiwanese domestic market, which have indicated a decrease of NTD 200-400/mt ($7-13/mt) this week, are currently at the following levels:
