SteelOrbis has been informed that in the local Taiwanese steel market the prices of commercial grade billet of 120 mm x 12 m have decreased by NTD 200/mt ($7/mt) as compared to last week and are now being quoted at NTD 17,200-17,300/mt ($574-578/mt) ex-works, for middle and end of July shipments.
In the meantime, rebar prices in the Taiwanese domestic market, which have declined by NTD 300-500/mt ($10-17/mt) as compared to last week, are now at the following levels:
