Billet and rebar prices increase in Taiwan – week 30

SteelOrbis has been informed that in the local Taiwanese steel market the prices of commercial grade billet of 120 mm x 12 m have increased by NTD 100-200/mt ($3-7/mt) as compared to last week and are now being quoted at NTD 17,200-17,300/mt ($570-573/mt) ex-works, for mid-August shipments.
 
In the meantime, rebar prices in the Taiwanese domestic market, which have moved up by NTD 100/mt ($3/mt) as compared to last week, are now at the following levels:
