Billet and rebar prices in Taiwan - week 51

SteelOrbis has been informed that in the local Taiwanese steel market the prices of commercial grade billet of 120 mm x 12 mm have declined by NTD 100/mt ($3/mt) since last week and are now at NTD 13,300-13,700/mt ($425-437/mt) ex-works, for end of December and early January shipments.

In the meantime, rebar prices in the Taiwanese domestic market, which have remained stable since last week, are now at the following levels:

The above prices include five percent VAT, are ex-warehouse and are also for end of December and early January shipments.
