SteelOrbis has been informed that in the local Taiwanese steel market the prices of commercial grade billet of 120 mm x 12 m have decreased by NTD 100/mt ($3/mt) as compared to last week and are now being quoted at NTD 17,200-17,300/mt ($574-577/mt) ex-works, for early September shipments.
In the meantime, rebar prices in the Taiwanese domestic market, which have moved down by NTD 200-300/mt ($7-10/mt) as compared to last week, are now at the following levels:
