Nucor-Yamato released new prices for wide flange beams and structural channels: effective with new orders February 7, 2015, the prices for those products will be reduced by $30/nt ($1.50 cwt. or $33/mt).
Future orders and new arrivals of imports were to blame in the letter, specifically from South Korea, Russia, Germany, Spain, Luxembourg, Mexico, UAE, China, Taiwan, Japan and the United Kingdom.
Other US mills are expected to follow suit.
