Artificial increases withdrawn in local Turkish rebar spot prices

According to market sources, rebar prices in the local Turkish spot market have decreased by around TRY 15-45/mt since June 29, though prices on US dollar basis have declined by $8-14/mt due to the fluctuation of the exchange rate. Market players state that traders have been forced to withdraw the artificial increases recorded in their prices at the beginning of the current week amid weak demand.
