According to market sources, Spanish rebar export offers have remained stable since last week at €415-425/mt ($515-527/mt) FOB.

Meanwhile, Spanish rebar offers for Algeria are still at €440-450/mt ($546-558/mt) CFR, unchanged as compared to last week. Improved finished steel demand in Algeria has been replaced by sluggish buying interest this week. In the meantime, market sources state that Algerian buyers are seeking lower prices and so they are postponing their purchases for the moment.
