On November 18, Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel Co. (WISCO) issued its steel sales prices for December shipment. The details are as follows (all comparisons being with November prices):
1. Hot rolled coil (HRC) and hot rolled sheet (HRS)
The prices of all hot rolled products have decreased by RMB 50/mt ($8/mt).
Accordingly, the prices of 3.0 mm x 1,250 mm SPHC grade HRC, 2.75 mm x 1,250 mm Q235 grade HRC and 5.5 mm x 1,500 mm Q235 grade HRC are respectively standing at RMB 3,720/mt ($606/mt), RMB 3,730/mt ($608/mt) and RMB 3,690/mt ($601/mt).
2. Rolled plate
The prices of all rolled plate have decreased by RMB 50/mt ($8/mt).
Accordingly, 14-40 mm Q235A and 14-40 mm Q345A grade plate prices are now at RMB 3,600/mt ($587/mt) and RMB 3,710/mt ($605/mt) respectively.
3. Pickled and oiled
The prices of all pickled and oiled products have moved down by RMB 50/mt ($8/mt).
4. Cold rolled coil (CRC) and cold rolled sheet (CRS)
The prices of common CRC and CR products for application in home appliances have moved down by RMB 50/mt ($8/mt).
5. Hot dip galvanized (HDG)
The prices of DX51, DX52, DX53 and structural grade HDG products have increased by RMB 50/mt ($8/mt), while the prices of all other HDG products have remained unchanged.
6. Color-coated
The prices of all color-coated products have decreased by RMB 50/mt ($8/mt).
7. The prices of electro-galvanized products, non-grain-oriented (NGO) silicon steel and grain-oriented (GO) silicon steel have remained unchanged.
All prices are ex-works, excluding 17 percent VAT, and are effectively immediately.
