HDG prices in the Turkish domestic market have softened by $20-30/mt as compared to last week. Turkish steel mills, which had thought that HDG prices had already hit bottom, had to reflect their discounts in their list prices amid pale demand. However, this price decrease by the mills has failed to get a response from buyers. Also, Turkish export offers have declined to the level of domestic quotations due to low demand.
