Flat steel prices in
Vietnam have been following a sideways trend, while local buyers have maintained their wait-and-see stance. Meanwhile, some Vietnamese buyers have concluded flat steel transactions from South Korea and
Taiwan.
Hot rolled coil (
HRC) domestic prices in
Vietnam have remained unchanged as compared to previous weeks at $635-640/mt, while cold rolled coil (
CRC) prices in the local Vietnamese market have indicated a decrease of $15-20/mt as compared to previous weeks and are currently at $780-790/mt, both including VAT.
On the import side, Chinese
HRC offers to
Vietnam are still at $625-630/mt CFR, while certain ex-
China spot
HRC offers have been heard at the level of $605/mt CFR. On the other hand, ex-South Korea offers for 2 mm re-rolling
HRC are at $62-625/mt CFR.
