Futures prices for hot dipped galvanized (HDG) and Galvalume coil have, for the most part trended flexibly sideways since our last report a week ago, with sources close to SteelOrbis still indicating that there’s a mass supply glut of domestic and import coated steel products.
People are doing some buying, according to other sources, but considering the mass tons that have arrived at US ports in recent months, the large buys are very few and far between.
