Little, if anything has changed within the US import hot dipped galvanized (HDG) market, as many movers and shakers will not return to the office until after the New Year holiday.
Prices have held steady since our last report a week ago, while order activity and inquiries have trended light. Sources close to SteelOrbis continue to report that offshore mills are hungry for orders, but say that some within the US are still wary about booking significant tonnages due to concerns over potential trade case action.
