Over the past week, Turkish mills have increased their coated coil prices for the domestic market by $10/mt week on week, due to the uptrend of domestic hot rolled coil (HRC) prices. However, Turkish buyers consider the new price levels to be on the high side and are cautious about making new bookings.

Turkish domestic PPGI prices have increased by $10/mt week on week, with RAL 9002 0.3 mm 100 gr/m² zinc-coated PPGI prices at $1,110-1,155/mt, with the price of RAL 9002 0.5 mm at $960-980/mt and the price of 1 mm RAL 9002 at $850-885/mt. All the offers in question are on ex-works basis and exclude 18 percent VAT.

Meanwhile, Turkish PPGI export prices have also increased by $10/mt week on week to $945-955/mt FOB.
