According to market sources, demand for Turkish flat steel is still slack in the export markets. Turkish exporters' hot rolled coil (
HRC) prices have remained stable during the past week at $330-340/mt FOB. Market sources state that buyers' firm bids are currently at $310-320/mt FOB but Turkish producers find it difficult to reduce their prices to this range. On the other hand, Turkish cold rolled coil (
CRC) export offers have declined by $20/mt in the same period to $420-430/mt FOB. All prices are for November production.
