According to market sources, demand for hot rolled coil (HRC) imports in Turkey is still slack this week. Turkish buyers are putting downward pressure on producers' prices before concluding any deals and are waiting for the new import HRC price levels which are expected to be released next week.

The latest Russian HRC offers to the Turkish market have been in the range of $365-375/mt CFR, while Ukrainian and Chinese HRC offers to Turkey have been at $355-365/mt CFR and $355/mt CFR, respectively.

Also, market sources state that, while new cold rolled coil (CRC) offers have been heard in the Turkish market, demand is still weak. Ukrainian CRC offers to Turkey are at $450-460/mt CFR, while Russian CRC offers to the same destination are at $460-470/mt CFR, both remaining stable compared to price levels last month.
