Demand has remained weak for Turkish pre-painted galvanized (PPGI) coil both in the domestic and export markets, causing prices of Turkish products to soften.

Turkish mills' local prices have moved down by $20/mt during the past week, with RAL 9002 0.3 mm 100 gr/m² zinc-coated PPGI falling to $900-955/mt, RAL 9002 0.5 mm to $750-780/mt and prices for 1 mm RAL 9002 to $640-695/mt. All the offers in question are on ex-works basis and exclude 18 percent VAT.

Meanwhile, Turkish mills’ PPGI export quotations have declined by $20/mt week on week at $740-770/mt FOB.
