Demand in the local Turkish pre-painted galvanized (PPGI) coil market is still slack, while prices have decreased by $30/mt over the past week. At present, Turkish mills' local prices for RAL 9002 0.3 mm 100 gr/m² zinc-coated PPGI are at $755-780/mt, while their offers for RAL 9002 0.5 mm are at $640-675/mt and prices for 1 mm RAL 9002 are at $560-595/mt. All the offers in question are on ex-works basis, exclude 18 percent VAT, and are for February and March production.

Meanwhile, demand for Turkish PPGI exports is still weak amid ongoing economic and political uncertainty. Accordingly, Turkish PPGI prices have also declined by $30/mt week on week to $600-640/mt FOB for February production
