Turkish mills soften HRC and CRC export offers to attract demand

Turkish flat steel producers have slightly softened their export offers as their major export markets are currently moving downwards, with demand remaining poor in these regions. However, since Turkish mills' opponents in their target markets have reduced their prices more significantly, Turkish producers' downward price adjustment may not be enough to attract already weak demand.
 
Turkish producers' hot rolled coil (HRC) export offers have softened by $5/mt since last week to $610-620/mt FOB, while their cold rolled coil (CRC) export offers have declined to $710-715/mt FOB, down $10-15/mt week on week.
