In the Turkish domestic flat steel market, the price uptrend which began last week has continued this week.
Accordingly, Turkish flat steel producer Colakoglu Metalurji has increased its hot rolled coil (
HRC) prices from $690/mt ex-works for late April rolling to $700/mt ex-works, while integrated steelmaker
Erdemir is currently mentioning $700/mt ex-works for
HRC and $810/mt ex-works for cold rolled coils (
CRC).
In the meantime, concluding its latest
HRC bookings at $665/mt ex-works for March rolling,
MMK Metalurji is not currently giving any offers for new production this week, but is concluding sales from stock at $680/mt ex-works instead.
While producers'
HRC offers are generally at $700/mt ex-works, it is heard that the latest transactions have been concluded at $690/mt ex-works.
