Turkish buyers have completed their imported flat steel purchases ahead of the year-end, while demand is now quite low. Most market players have already completed their stocktaking work and now they are only looking to meet their urgent needs from the domestic market. Those who have not yet completed their stocktaking are expected to finish their work this weekend. In the meantime, prices have remained unchanged.

Accordingly, import offers to Turkey for hot rolled coils (HRC) are at $545-550/mt CFR from Ukraine, at $590-600/mt CFR from Russia and at $575/mt CFR from Slovakia, while offers for cold rolled coils (CRC) are at $700-715/mt CFR from Russia and at $620-625/mt CFR from Ukraine.
