Market sources state that demand in the Turkish flat steel export market has been weaker compared to three weeks ago, while Turkish hot rolled coil (HRC) export prices have declined by $10/mt over the past two weeks to $500-510/mt FOB. Market sources report that Turkish HRC offers to the export markets are higher than Russian HRC export offers which are in the range of $460-465/mt CFR.

On the other hand, cold rolled coil (CRC) prices from Turkey to the export markets have declined by $10/mt over the past two weeks to the range of $600-610/mt FOB. Demand for Turkish CRC in the export markets has nearly dried up and it is hard to find offers in the market, market sources said.
