Average cold rolled product prices in the local Chinese market are presented in the following table.
During the given week, HRC futures prices in China have indicated a sharp uptrend, exerting a positive impact on domestic cold rolled prices. Amid the upward price trend, buyers of cold rolled products have been eager to conclude purchases before prices rise further, resulting in good transaction activity in the market. Bullish sentiment will likely prevail in the ferrous metal markets in China in the short term. It is expected that CRC prices in the Chinese domestic market will likely move sideways or edge up slightly in the coming week.
