Traders in the local Turkish cold rolled coil (CRC) market have gradually decreased their prices by $30/mt compared to the previous month due to slack demand. Meanwhile, market sources state that on the producers' side lower ex-Ukraine CRC offers in the range of $530-535/mt have been putting downward pressure on Turkish steel producers' prices. However, Turkish steel producers in a bid to boost activity in the local market have increased their CRC prices by $5/mt over the past week to $610-630/mt despite lower CRC offers in the global market.
