Yieh United Steel Corporation (YUSCO), one of Taiwan's leading stainless steel producers, has announced that for June deliveries it has revised its stainless steel prices downward as compared to the previous month's level due to weakening demand. Accordingly, the producer has cut its prices for 300 series by NTD 2,000/mt ($67/mt), while the mill's new offers for 400 series products are NTD 500/mt ($147/mt) lower than its previous level.
In the meantime, YUSCO‘s 2.0 mm stainless steel SUS304 2B (CRC) export prices have moved down by $50/mt as compared to last month for shipments in June-July.
