SteelOrbis has been informed that the price of stainless steel hot rolled coils of 3-5 mm thickness is being quoted in the local Taiwanese steel market at NTD 89,000-91,500/mt ($2,803-2,881/mt) ex-warehouse. The prices indicate an increase of NTD 2,000/mt ($63/mt) as compared to last week.
Meanwhile, stainless steel cold rolled coils of 0.8-1.5 mm thickness are being offered in the local Taiwanese steel market at NTD 93,000-96,000/mt ($2,929-3,023/mt) ex-warehouse. The prices have increased by NTD 2,000/mt ($63/mt) as compared to the previous week.
The above prices, which include five percent VAT, are for late August shipments.
