SteelOrbis has been informed that the sales price of 304/2B 2 mm
stainless steel coil is in the RMB 35,000-36,000/ton (4,450-4,550/ton) range, including VAT, in the local Chinese markets. Meanwhile, the price of
stainless sheet of the same grade and thickness is in the range of RMB 33,000-33,500/ton ($4,200-4,250/ton), including VAT.
These domestic market price levels for
China are very important for Turkish traders who have focused on
China's domestic market due to the dollar/euro exchange rate, and the
production and sales levels in
Europe.
