The Turkish domestic hot dip galvanized (HDG) market has continued to witness stable prices and demand, while some local mills have filled their order books for September production. Demand coming from foreign markets has shown some improvement, with orders received mainly from the Middle East.

In the Turkish domestic HDG steel market, the sales prices of local production material are as follows:

Product

Price ($/mt)

HDG   0.50 mm  100gr/m²

790-800

HDG   1 mm  100gr/m²

760-770

HDG   2 mm  100gr/m²

740-760

The above prices, which may differ depending on product quality, are ex-works, exclude VAT, and are for advance payments.

On the other hand, Turkish export offers for 0.50 mm 100gr/m² zinc coated HDG coils to certain Middle Eastern markets are still standing at $810-820/mt ex-works for September production.
