Demand in the local Turkish pre-painted
galvanized (PPGI) coil market has remained slack during the past week, while prices have remained stable in the same period. At present, Turkish mills' local prices for RAL 9002 0.3 mm 100 gr/m² zinc-
coated PPGI are at $785-810/mt, while their offers for RAL 9002 0.5 mm are at $670-705/mt and prices for 1 mm RAL 9002 are at $590-625/mt. All the offers in question are on ex-works basis, exclude 18 percent VAT, and are for February production.
Meanwhile, demand for Turkish PPGI has declined further in the export markets compared to last week. Accordingly, Turkish PPGI prices have decreased by $20/mt week on week to $630-670/mt FOB for February production.
