SteelOrbis has heard from market sources that Russian slab offers to Turkey have decreased by $20/mt over the past month to $430/mt CFR, while ex-UK slab offers are currently at $450/mt CFR Turkey, both for shipments in January. However, according to market sources Turkish buyers are reluctant to accept these offers and continue to seek price levels in the range of $400-410/mt CFR.
