Shaoguan Iron and Steel raises its plate prices

On March 23, Guangdong Province-based Shaoguan Iron and Steel announced a price increase of RMB 40/mt ($6/mt) for its common carbon plate, low alloy plate and high quality carbon plate for all regions. As a result, the ex-factory price of 20 mm Q235 medium plate in Guangzhou now stands at RMB 4,410/mt ($646/mt). The above price includes 17 percent VAT and is effective from March 23.
