According to market sources, Russian offers for slab to Turkey have declined by $10/mt over the past two weeks and are currently at $450/mt CFR for shipment in January.

However, Turkish slab buyers have found the current price level to be on the high side and are hesitating to purchase at this level, while they are waiting for Russian slab prices to decline to the range of $410-420/mt CFR.
