According to market sources, Russian mills' slab offers to the EU markets are still standing at $510-515/mt CFR for shipments in November, remaining unchanged over the past month.  Despite Russian producers' attempts to increase their slab prices by $10-15/mt, buyers have not accepted the higher prices but have continued to maintain a wait-and-see stance.

Meanwhile, the situation in the Russian slab market is getting more unstable because of the recent weakening of the euro and the Russian ruble against the US dollar.
