The new base for negotiations of HRC for export from Brazil is $430/mt, FOB conditions, against $440/mt last week, a local exporter told SteelOrbis.

Declining since achieving $500/mt by mid-May, the Brazilian price for export of HRC, such as for other flat products, has links with declining export prices from China.

In May, ArcelorMittal Tubarao exported HRC at $286/mt, CSN at $453/mt, Usiminas at $667/mt and by Gerdau Acominas at $293/mt, all FOB conditions, with price deals probably closed in March.
