Demand in the Turkish domestic hot dip galvanized (HDG) coil market has been weak over the past seven days, while prices have remained unchanged over the same period after last week's increase.

In the Turkish domestic market, HDG sales prices are currently as follows:

Product

Price ($/mt)

HDG   0.50 mm  100gr/m²

780-805

HDG   1 mm  100gr/m²

730-750

HDG   2 mm  100gr/m²

715-720

The above prices, which may differ depending on product quality, are ex-works, exclude VAT, and are for advance payments.

Demand for Turkish HDG exports has continued to improve since last week, with market players stating that the demand for Turkish materials has increased amid the strengthening of prices in the target markets. Ex-Turkey rebar offers have also remained unchanged since last week and are currently at $765-785/mt FOB.
