China's domestic stainless steel market has mostly moved on a stable trend during the past seven days, though with some slight decreases seen also.
Global nickel prices have followed a fluctuating trend during the past week, with prices now slightly higher compared to one week earlier. On April 21, the three-month nickel price at the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed at $12,675/mt, while LME nickel inventory on the same date totaled 433,962 mt.
Overall trading activity in the Chinese domestic stainless steel market has remained at low levels, causing some traders to reduce their prices slightly. Considering the support from nickel prices, it is believed that domestic stainless steel prices will continue to follow their mainly stable trend in the coming week.
